About Dr. Celeste Quan
From a young age, Dr. Celeste Quan was surrounded by natural medicine. Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine were her saving graces when she had severe childhood eczema and then again when she suffered from menstrual cramping. With the belief that every woman has a right to a positive and supportive birth, she is committed to serve women who are pregnant or planning their families with pre-conception, prenatal and postnatal care, as well as labour support for expecting mothers and their partners.
By combining her training as a naturopathic doctor and as a labour support, she is able to provide the opportunities that enable women and their families to have the happy healthy lives they envision.
In Dr. Quan's family practice, she focuses on general health optimization, women's health, fertility, pregnancy to postpartum care, and pediatric care. She happily serves her community in Mandarin and French.
Dr. Quan is a registered naturopathic doctor with the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND) and the College of Naturopathic Doctors of Alberta (CNDA). Dr. Celeste is also a member of the Pediatric Association of Naturopathic Physicians (PedANP), and the Calgary Doula Association.

Naturopathic medicine is an approach to treating the health of people based on its six core principles. It blends modern scientific knowledge with traditional and natural forms of medicine, often favouring natural and low intensity interventions.
In naturopathic medicine, a person is treated as a whole, with symptoms seen as signals from the body that something is going on, either improper functioning of the body or repeated insults from the environment. Treatment is based on the belief that the body is capable of healing itself and interventions are used to stimulate and support the healing process.
Dr. Celeste Quan is able to incorporate the following therapies as a part of your treatment plan:
Nutrient Supplementation and IV therapy
Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine
IV and Injection Therapy
